The widespread speculations were that the CBSE X Results will be released on May 5th.
In a day's delay though, the CBSE declared the Class X results on its website cbse.nic.in on May 6th at 3pm. About 18 lakh students had registered for the CBSE Class X examination this year and the nation shines with a 91.1% pass.
Girls hav outshone boys with a pass percentage of 92.45%.
Scoring an excellent 499 out of 500, 13 students have topped the CBSE Class X 2019 Exams.
They are Bhavana N Sivadas from Kerala, 8 students from UP, and 4 from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan respectively.
Trivandrum bags the highest pass percentage of 99.85% followed by Chennai with 99% and Ajmer with 95.89%.
